Check it out. Up until I started following Bitcoin I wouldn't really have cared outside of a brief flirtation with BSD Unix near my freshman year of college. It's amazing how much Bitcoin can affect a person's computing priorities. Things like code correctness and security start to matter, and at some reasons like point it just works or it runs all the games fall out of the list of priorities. Stan's idea of sane computing starts to become incredibly desirable.1 November is going to be exciting when 5.6 ships with LibreSSL included instead of OpenSSL. It's rather Amazing how recently I didn't care about such things.
- Not that any system at present meets all of Stan's requirements. [↩]
